Cúcakes pancake mix includes sweet potato and blueberry mix and peanut drizzle mix. Great for kids to make!
Just add 1 tbsp coconut, olive or sunflower oil, 2 eggs, and 1/2 cup applesauce, plain yogurt, goat milk or mashed banana. All natural ingredients combine flavors dogs go bananas for without any sugars, gluten, salt or leavening agents. Pancakes have a delicate texture that stays together well for low mess eating. Leftovers are perfect for chew toy stuffing! Slice pancakes into pieces the size of your toy openings and use either from the fridge or freezer.
The mix is great made with Thrive Coconut Oil. For variety try making with BCR duck eggs.
Makes approximately 12 pancakes.
For dogs 3+ months.
What you need:
- 2 eggs.
- 1 tbsp oil + more for pan (olive, sunflower or coconut oil).
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce, plain yogurt, goat milk or mashed banana.
Included in kit:
package #1: oat flour and sweet potato powder.
package #2: peanut powder.
package of dried blueberries.
- In a bowl, combine 2 eggs, 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp water, 1 tbsp oil and 1/2 cup applesauce, yogurt or mashed banana. Whisk until well combined. Add contents of package #1 + included blueberries and mix with a spatula until no large clumps remain.
- Heat frying pan on medium-low heat with a small amount of oil. Spoon heaping tablespoons of batter into pan. Cook until one side is golden, then flip pancakes and continue cooking. Once fully cooked, remove from pan and continue adding oil and pancake mix until all batter is used up. Let pancakes cool completely.
In a bowl, whisk together package #2 with 3 tbsp water, adding a tsp more at a time until desired consistency. Whisk until combined. Drizzle over pancakes.
As with all treats, feed in moderation. Pancakes will last at room temperature for 2 days, in the fridge for a week, and in the freezer for at least 3 months. Leftover pancake is excellent for chew toy stuffing! Can cut into pieces before freezing to fit your toys.
