As your cat walks past the Catit Senses Ball Dome, the toy sends a bright orange ball rolling that encourages your feline to play. The toy’s inner tilting plate will periodically set the ball in motion again to keep your cat interested.

The Catit Senses Ball Dome has two modes: continuous and sensor mode. To set the toy to continuous mode, move the slider to the left. This will keep the toy going until switched off or its batteries run out. For the sensor mode, you move the slider to the right. As the name suggests, this setting activates the toy to move only when its motion sensors are triggered. To switch the toy off, put the slider in the middle.

Compared to other electronic cat toys, the Catit Senses Ball Dome only uses a tiny amount of power to function. The toy will also go to sleep when your cat stops playing, resulting in 70% less battery consumption. 

All the mechanical parts are hidden away underneath the plate to keep them out of your cat’s reach. The openings in the toy’s cover are paw-friendly as well. They are 1.6 inches (4 cm) in diameter, accommodating all cat breeds from little kittens to large Maine Coons.
